when they operated they found something inside her that looked a lot like a globe-- except all the countries were globs of red veins her green eggs spilled on all sides like pea soup she hissed at the doctors like I wanted to she carried tiny bundles that looked like they belonged to storks she took off her foot and held it above her head we all gathered around her bed but no one knew how to help her
